The foundation 'John van Geuns Fonds' aims at promoting the study of chemistry at the University of Amsterdam as well as stimulating chemistry research on the interaction of light and matter. The John van Geuns Fund encourages students to enroll in the study of chemistry at the UvA. It awards scholarships to talented, ambitious students.
